Our Equipment & Capabilities

The Corning Volunteer Fire Department is a single station, 100% volunteer fire department.  We provide fire protection to the towns of Corning and Harding which total 218.6 square miles.  As of January 2015 we currently have a membership consisting of 25 Fire Fighters, and 9 First Responders.  These dedicated volunteers give many hours of their time to attend meetings, drills, weekly maintenance nights, and of course calls.

Our apparatus consists of 1 Engine, 2 Tenders (Tankers), 1 Utility Truck, 1 Brush Truck, 1 6-wheeled Brush Unit, and 1 Rescue truck.  Click the links to the left to learn more about the equipment.
