History

Brush 2 was purchased in 2007 to augment wildland firefighting and first responder operations. Brush 2 as well as our extrication gear carried by Rescue 1 was purchased in conjunction with a FEMA  Assistance to Firefighters Grant. This grant paid for 95% of all eligible costs, with the remainder paid for by the Town of Corning Fire Department Equipment Fund. Many members had a hand in outfitting Brush 2 with it's customized body and firefighting equipment.
